The aim of the Pittsburgh Finns Ensemble is to represent traditional and modern Finnish music in Pittsburgh's vast cultural music scene. The ensemble is also working in cooperation with the Finnish Nationality Room Committee in order to raise funds for the construction of the Finnish Nationality room in the Cathedral of Learning. 100% of album proceeds go directly to the Finnish Nationality Room construction fund.
